ALBANY,GA --
For the past year, The Dougherty County Rotary has been hosting a student from Denmark as part of their student program.

Thea Nissen has been attending classes at Darton College, but has experienced a lot of the American culture, having visited 23 states in the past year.

She says the program is different than normal traveling.

“But when you're there on exchange, you really get to see much more cause you talk to people, you go to people's home and it's just a more complete experience,” says Nissen.

Thea will return to Denmark on May 3rd.
