ALBANY,GA --
The Dougherty County Commission just started talking about the budget--and so far so good!

They are just three months away from the next fiscal year, but County Administrator Richard Crowdis says they're in good shape.

“Overall, we're close to where you want to be at nine months. We can always be better, I will say that,” says Crowdis.

He says it's too early to tell whether furloughs will be a reality in the next fiscal year.
