ALBANY,GA --
Albany police are investigating an aggravated assault after one man is found stabbed in the chest.

It happened at 615 West Highland Avenue around 5:00 Sunday afternoon.

The victim, 28-year-old Eric Barber was found with stab wounds to his upper chest.

He was taken to a hospital; we don't know the extent of his injuries just yet.

Authorities believe the suspect is a black male about 5 feet, 5 inches tall with crew cut hair and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt.

Officers aren't sure what led the suspect, whose nickname is "fat", to stab Barber.
