ALBANY,GA --
The medical facility Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital is building on Meredyth Drive is taking shape.

Board members were briefed on its progress Wednesday.

The campus is set to receive patients in late October.

It’s meant to be their outpatient facility of choice and in addition to physician offices; the campus will include two other facilities, one of which will be an expansion of their imaging capabilities.

“It's going to be a world class operation that we'll have that will go in there and will open about the same time and the second piece is, we're opening a new GI center,” says Executive Vice President and COO Joe Austin.

They are also thinking of moving the Starbucks on Meredyth into the building formerly known as the Ordinary Coyote.
