ALBANY, GA -- In our Facebook story of the day, you wanted to know how to find out what jobs and proposals local governments are bidding out to business owners.

The City of Albany's Central Service department has a listing of current bids and proposals available to all interested vendors posted in their office and online. The department is also required to post new information in the Albany Herald.

Director of Central Services Stephen Collier says "the one that is more detailed is turbo bid. You can subscribe to turbo bid or you can just go on and check turbo bid for the opportunities out there." If you would like more  log on to to the Albany city website.
