Home in gated community victim of burglary

Albany police say a residence at Wyndham Chase was ransacked by an unknown suspect or suspects

Police are still investigating if items were stolen from a home in Wyndham Chase / Sarah Bleau

ALBANY, GA --
Police are investigating after they say a home in an Albany gated community was ransacked.

At approximately 9:30 a.m. Monday morning, police say a contractor reported to the realty company that the door to 2320 Pineridge Lane in the Wyndham Chase gated community was opened. The realty company reported it to police.

When officers arrived they say they found that the suspect or suspects went through the rear entry of the home then rummaged through several rooms.

Police say they are still determining if anything was stolen.
