ALBANY, GA --
Girl Scouts celebrated 100 years this month.

On Saturday, they took a trip back in time.

They held an alumni reception at the Flint RiverQuarium where old members and former troop leaders gathered to talk about the program.

Artifacts like old uniforms, newspaper clippings and pictures were on display.

“Sometimes I see these girls and, if they're not Girl Scouts, they say well I wish I had been a Girl Scout. And I say, well it's never too late if you wish you had been one!” says former Girl Scout Leader Catherine Lawrence.

“I think it's one of the best places to develop good leaders of any place I know, not just in Girl Scouts, but in the community, jobs and doing anything you want to do,” says former Girl Scout Leader Marilyn Malphurs-McKinney.

They say while technology has changed, nothing has changed the true integrity of the program.
