In our Facebook story of the day, you wanted to know how many DUI's it takes before a driver loses their license.

Well you can actually lose your license after your first DUI.

The reason is because your license can be suspended up to one year if your caught under the influence within the first year of receiving a DUI.

But if your caught more than once you run into a tougher situation.

 "After three DUI's within a five year period your license can be suspended for five years and you could be labeled as an habitual violator if your caught during that time you could serve a jail sentence and after the fourth dui its considered a felony," said Darryl Benton, Georgia State Patrol Senior Trooper.

 If your license is taken, some drivers with a DUI can be given a temporary license that allows them to drive to and from work.
