ALBANY, GA --
30 high school boys have spent the last year learning how to become a productive African American male in today's society.

And Saturday was their recognition ceremony.

Saturday night was the 16th biennial Beautillion at the Hasan Temple.

The boys each had a mentor in the community and participated in programs teaching them life lessons.

“And those mentors have worked with these boys all year long from sexual awareness to volunteering to how to be a man,” says Jack and Jill Foundation President Angel Taylor.

They also took courses in etiquette and how to tie a bow tie.

Money raised benefitted the Jack and Jill Foundation, the Boys and Girls Club and the Mount Zion Boys CAPS Program.
