Shoppers showed up to Albany Sporting Goods to support American Idol's Phillip Phillips family.
This yard sale was multi-family effort to help raise money for Phillip Phillip's parents to travel to Hollywood for the live shows.
Buyers also had a chance to purchase everything from clothes to furniture, toys and knick knacks for the home.
The family is very appreciative to the local support they've been receiving
Stacy Ethridge, a cousin of Phillip who helped organize the sale, says "we've set everything up today and we started around 9am. We had like thirty or forty people here waiting on us to set up, it's really going well for us."
The family is looking into planning another yard sale in the next two weeks in Lee County.
