The Hahn family says they're staying in good spirits after their home was destroyed; neighbors continue helping with their recovery and clean-up

Day three of storm clean up in Vada is moving along "very well" says Capt. Greg Brock with the Mt. Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department.
By Tuesday afternoon, he says the Hahn Family - whose house was the only one destroyed in Vada - had everything cleaned up and in a dumpster they brought in. Brock says a contractor was at the Hahn’s property Tuesday afternoon giving estimates and will be out tomorrow to finish up the plans. He says the Hahns remain "in great spirits."
Equipment is bring brought in to clean up fallen trees in the area that can’t be picked up by hand, according to Brock.

Volunteers firefighters in Vada say community members are playing a the largest role in the clean-up efforts there.Together with downed trees and destroyed farm sheds, the Hahn family’s home was the only one to be flattened from Saturday’s tornado. They say community members continue to stop by to help clean up debris and offer help.
The Hahn’s say on Tuesday they are bringing in a dumpster and already have neighbors who say they’ll be over to help clean up the debris.
“She (Jocelyn Hahn) said they've lived all over the country and they've lived in subdivisions and they've never even spoken to their neighbors, then they say this happens to them she says everybody in the community has offered to stop by and help,” says Capt. Greg Brock with the Mt. Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department.
He says a representative from the Georgia Emergency Management Agency was evaluating damage on Saturday after the storm, but they have not heard back from them just yet.
