ALBANY, GA -- The Lee County Sheriff's Office teamed up with the Albany Police Department and the Albany-Dougherty Drug Unit to catch a man wanted for ramming his truck into a deputy’s car.

A tipster told police that 40-year-old Robert Aitken was at a party.  Police arrived at the party and arrested him on multiple charges.

Aitken has been charged with misdemeanor fleeing/attempting to elude, expired license, reckless driving, and obstruction of a law enforcement officer. He was also charged with felony aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer.
