Engineers with Albany Planning and Developing say there will be some road repavement along with the new Olive Garden's construction

ALBANY, GA --
In Thursday's Facebook Story of the Day, viewers wanted to know if the new Olive Garden construction would lead to road closures around the site.

Engineers with Albany Planning and Developing say there will be no major road closures.

They say there will be construction of deceleration lanes on the Westover side of the property as well as at the entrance going onto Dawson Road. They say this will help with traffic when the restaurant opens.

Engineers say it is possible some lanes could be narrowed for this, meaning they would need to repaved which could close parts of the roadways for an hour or two.
