ALBANY, GA. --
A well known group of bikers are in town this weekend helping out the Pecan City Pedalers.

A crew with the International Mountain Bicycling Association is here to talk trails and teach the proper trail building techniques at the Parks at Chehaw .

This weekend's events kicked off Thursday night with participants watching the movie "Pedal-Driven." The film is about biking and trail building.

Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. at the Chehaw Education Building, participants will have the opportunity to view a PowerPoint presentation of "Better Living through Trails".

Saturday, starting at 9:00 a.m., event organizers will hold trail building classes open to the public. During this course, people will have the chance to help construct a bike trail.

The weekend workshop will close out Sunday with a fun ride at 9:00 a.m.

All of the events are open to the public.
