ALBANY, GA --
1st Update (2/15/12   2:30PM)
A bank account has been set up Suntrust Bank to assist the Wallace family with funeral expenses.

Initial Story
Dougherty County District Attorney Greg Edwards confirmed to Fox 31 that two juveniles are facing serious charges in connection to the fatal shooting of a 13-year-old Darius Wallace Saturday afternoon.

At this time officials believe that the 11-year-old was the shooter and is being charged with felony murder and tampering with evidence.  A 15-year-old was also involved and is being charged with tampering with evidence and possession of a firearm.  Both juveniles are being held at the Regional Youth Detention Center.

Edwards says at this time all charges are being handled by the juvenile court, however additional charged could be pending.  There is a possibility that they could be charged as adults at a later date if the evidence leads the office to that conclusion.
