ALBANY, GA -- Students learned a bit more about the law Saturday in a mock trial.

High school students from Berrien, Bainbridge, Lee County, Lowndes and Thomasville City High schools came together for a mock trial at the Dougherty County courthouse.

“The kids are absolutely fabulous, they have been very excited. They spend a lot of time practicing as well as their attorney coaches and their teacher coaches and they have been very, very good today,” says Lauren Brock, an attorney with Langley and Lee.

Lowndes, Berrien and Bainbridge high school teams will move on to the final mock trial championship round which will be held at a later date.
