ALBANY, GA --

According to police, a 13-year-old boy was shot in the vicinity of Crawford Drive Saturday afternoon.

He was shot in the abdomen and taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

No word yet on his condition.

Albany police have responded to a shooting at 938 1/2 Crawford Drive.

Dispatch was notified of the shooting around 4:30 p.m.

Dispatch operators said a young teenage male had been shot in the Femoral artery in the left leg and EMS had controlled the bleeding.

He was taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
