ALBANY, GA --
The Lily Pad found the need to reach out into the community to find partners to help to them upgrade at no cost.

The decline of state and federal resources is limited. That’s why they are so open to assistance of volunteers.

“We think it’s real important that the environment here is bright and cheerful and child friendly so were really grateful when the community says that we think this work is important and they actually put some sweat equality into what we do here,” says Lily Pad Executive Director Karen Kemp.

Lily Pad volunteers worked with others from AmeriCorps, Darton and LaGrange Colleges rolled up their sleeves to keep the center looking nice.
