Sources say Water, Gas, and Light may be on the move to the Suntrus building?
 /

ALBANY, GA -- There may be a change in location for Albany’s
Water, Gas and Light Commission
.
This comes from sources that are aware of pending discussions but want to remain anonymous.
Before Wednesday night's city commission meeting, officials went into executive session to discuss possible land acquisition for property located at 410 West Broad Avenue. The Suntrust Bank building currently sits at that location.
Although city commissioners did not discuss this matter during the public city meeting, the issue was put on the agenda.
Sources for FOX 31 reveal that Albany’s
Water, Gas and Light Commission
is in the middle of a real estate matter.
FOX 31 contacted Water, Gas, and Light officials for comment and haven't heard a reply yet.
Our media partner,
the Albany Herald
