ALBANY, GA --
Thirteen volunteers received awards for their work in collaboration with Keep Albany-Dougherty Beautiful (KADB). Albany Mayor Dorothy Hubbard was on hand to present the awards.

"It's our dedicated employees on a day in, day out basis picking up litter, mowing grass, trying to keep the roads and right-of-ways and our parks, upkeep on those and beautification. I think that's what made our organization stand out," says Larry Cook, who accepted the Government Agency of the Year Award on behalf of Dougherty County Public Works.
