ALBANY, GA --
In just a couple of weeks, the Boy Scouts of America Organization will turn 102 years old.

The Boy Scouts have more than four million youth involved worldwide. They train in character development and self-reliance in multiple areas across the country.

Locally, the Chehaw council is getting ready for that anniversary and is looking forward to renewing their committment to positive youth development and growth in Southwest Georgia.

Brad Waldbridge, the District Executive of the Boy Scouts says that he is "looking for folks to support the organization in three ways and tha tis to support them prayerfully, physically and by getting involved as mentors and leaders in the organization".

Currently, they're serving more than 2,000 youth in the Southwest Georgia area.
