ALBANY, GA -- A late night drive near the Albany Civic Center lands two people in the hospital.

According to the Albany Police Department, 39-year-old Joseph Brinson was driving a Chevrolet Suburban with 37-year-old Reggie Clark in the passenger seat east on Oglethorpe Boulevard around 10:15 P.M. Sunday night. Brinson swerved around one car and hit a curb near the Civic Center on the Washington Street side.

Witnesses told police that the vehicle flipped at least three times.

Police say Brinson was ejected from the vehicle while Clark was trapped under the passenger side door for about 15 minutes. Both were transferred to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
