Lee County officials are searching for an armed robbery suspect
The Lee Co. Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery at the Dollar General on Philema Road
Lee County law enforcement is investigating an armed robbery at the Dollar General on Philema Road.
Chief Lweis Harris with the Sheriff's Office says around 9 p.m. a black male wearing all black and a face covering came into the store demanding money from the cash register. Harris says he was holding either a shotgun or a rifle.
Harris says the suspect was able to get away with an undetermined amount of money.
The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 15 and 25 years old. No one was injured in the incident.
