ALBANY, GA -- Multiple law enforcement agencies worked together Friday afternoon on a drug bust in Northwest Albany.

After a phone call about drug activity the Albany Dougherty Drug Unit, Georgia State Patrol, and Albany Police Department went to the corner of Nottingham and Stuart Avenue.  After a suspected drug deal authorities moved in on 26-year-old Bryant Brazier who lead them on a brief chase.  During the chase Brazier hit two other cars and the passengers were all taken to Phoebe for treatment.

Authorities arrested Brazier and after receiving a search warrant – they went to his apartment on Costner Court.  The search turned up a pound and half of marijuana and $18,000 cash.

Officials also arrested 22-year-old Kiara Knight.  Both are charged with possession, intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, and Brazier faces multiple traffic violations including driving on a suspended license and failure to maintain a lane.
