ASU and Darton will not have to consolidate
ALBANY, GA -- The University System of Georgia has made their recommendations of which schools should be consolidated and Albany State University and Darton College are not on that list.
The head of Georgia’s Senate Higher Education Committee proposed a merger of certain historically black colleges with other schools to save money. However, the system Chancellor cautioned that such a merger would face strong opposition from both sides.
