A special prosecutor has been named to handle the
ALBANY, GA -- document falsification case
against Velvet Riggins of the Dougherty County School Board.
Dougherty County Disctrict Attorney Greg Edwards has confirmed that
South Georgia Circuit District Attorney
Joe Mulholland will now be in charge of the case against Riggins. Riggins was arrested in early December for allegedly falsifying documents on her child's 2011-2012 school lunch application.
