ALBANY, GA. -- You often hear about reindeers in Christmas songs, but rarely do children get to meet them in person. On Tuesday a few kids did.
Children’s Medical Associates at The Veranda held their annual holiday party for children.
Cinderella, Frosty the Snow Man, and the Grinch all made a special appearance but after the party was the real show stopper.
Each child had the chance to make their way to Santa’s sleigh to see his real life reindeers.
Not only was the event fun for the kids, it also helped out the Lily Pad Sane Center.
“Each person that comes is supposed to bring a toy that we will donate to the Lily Pad. This is the fifth year that we had this celebration, so this is for our patients the Lily Pad and the community,” said Pediatrician Dr. J.P. Gleason.
All of the toys collected at the event will be donated to the Lily Pad before Christmas.
