ALBANY, GA -- Mayoral candidate Dorothy Hubbard picked up two more endorsements today. Former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Mark Taylor threw his support behind Hubbard. So did ex-county commissioner George Brown.

They both own businesses in Albany and say her experience was the deciding factor.

“I think the experience and the continuation of working on ongoing projects. She's not going to be starting anew. She won't need on the job training. She'll hit the ground running as mayor, continuing the work she has done in the commission,” said Taylor.

“She's very tough on crime and being a business person, you want someone in the political forefront, that's looking out for you when it comes to crime,” said Brown.

Hubbard faces off against B.J. Fletcher in a run-off election next Tuesday.
