Cotton truck flipped on Spring Flats road

DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GA -- Albany Fire Department and Dougherty County Police are on the scene of a car crash at the corner of South County Line road and Spring Flats road.

A driver with Cherokee Industrial Tires Inc. was driving a Chevrolet pickup truck with a gooseneck trailer down South County Line road and ran a stop sign at the intersection of Spring Flats road. He t-boned a cotton truck that was travelling down Spring Flats road. The cotton truck continued on Spring Flats road before losing control and flipping over into a ditch. The driver of the cotton truck climbed out and was transported by EMS to a local hospital.

The driver of the pickup is talking with authorities and doesn't appear to be injured. We do not know the extent of the injuries of the cotton truck driver.
