New concert will feature wild animals from Chehaw

ALBANY, GA -- The Albany Symphony Orchestra is partnering with Chehaw for their “Walk on the Wild Side” concert Saturday night.

The concert will begin a series of themed concerts that will highlight local cultural institutions in Albany.  Brazilian-born guest conductor Manfredo Schmiedt will lead the concert that aims to combine nature and classical music.

Before the show and during the intermission animals from Chehaw will be on display for concert attendees to interact with. 

The concert is Saturday November 19, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at the Albany Municipal Auditorium in Downtown Albany.  Tickets range from $8-$38.
