ALBANY, GA -- The parent company of Olive Garden, Darden Restaurants has filed site plans and permits with the City of Albany, starting the path to bringing the popular Italian restaurant to the the Albany area.
The plans filed with the city's planning department indicate that they are wanting to build on the current site of the Inn at Albany Mall.
Construction is expected to begin in January of next year if all plans are approved.
