Mother and three children involved in late night car accident

ALBANY, GA -- 1st Update
Albany Police say that Tamara Bobb was discharged from Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospial last night.

The children that were ejected, three-year-old Zariah and Damaiya Jones sustained minor injuries and were taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital last night and were discharged today. Five-year-old Kazdyn Carr was also ejection and transported to Macon, but is expected to be discharged today.

The case remains under investigation and charges are pending according to authorities.


Initial Story
Police responded to a car that had flipped at least twice--a mother and three children were in that car, of three of which were ejected.

Albany police got the call around 10:26 p.m.

They say a Chevy Avalanche was driving west bound on East Oglethorpe Boulevard when it hit the curb and overcorrected, causing the car to flip twice.

It happened in the 2200 block of East Oglethorpe, right in front of a Subway restaurant.

The mother and children were taken to area hospitals.
