ALBANY, GA. -- The law enforcement community gathered for a candlelight vigil in remembrance of Officer Terry Lewis Flemming.

The Albany Police Department held the vigil at the Veterans Park Amphitheater.

Family sat in the front row to hear prayers, songs, and memories of the officer's life.

Sergeant Keithen Hall says Flemming will be missed.

“It's a sad day because she was an outstanding officer, real cheerful and ongoing all the time. Anything you asked her to do, she’d do and that's what we're going to miss about Mrs. Flemming,” said APD Sergeant Keithen Hall.

Funeral arrangements are scheduled for tomorrow at the Albany Civic Center.
