LEE COUNTY, GA -- A 1.5 mile run, 500 yard swim and two minutes of push-ups, pull-ups and sit-ups.

Think you can do it?

Lee County High School’s swim team did it.

The Navy SEAL Fitness Challenge is designed by the Navy SEALs for high school and college athletes as a benchmark for competitive fitness.

With the help of sponsors and donations, the Lee County High School swim team used it as a fundraiser.

“The first 25 dollars goes towards just swim team expenses, travel and all that kind of stuff. Anything that they raise over 25 dollars goes toward their uniform which is their warm up and their suit,” says Coach Kelly Futch.

Results were submitted to the organization and the swim team members will receive a t-shirt for completing the fitness challenge.
