ALBANY, GA -- UPDATE: Police have arrested and charged 23-year-old Shongrevius Morgan with hindering apprehension which is a felony.

UPDATE: Police have named a suspect in Wednesday night’s murder of a street barber in South Albany.

Investigators think 33-year-old Timothy O’Neal Bell was the trigger man in the shooting death of Melvin Greene. Police say Bell faces a host of charges.

“Right now we have four charges pending on him. We're in the process of getting the warrant signed at this time. Those charges are going to be for murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and also possession of a firearm by a convicted felon,” said Albany Police detective Eric Rozier.

Police have already arrested 26-year-old Marcus Price in connection with the case. He's charged with party to committing a murder.

Officers were called out to the Windover Apartments in the 2000 block of West Gordon Avenue just before 5 p.m.

When they got there they found a 35-year-old man behind the complex, shot twice. Police have not released his name.

He was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Witnesses told police the suspect ran away on foot.

“We have not made an arrest. We're interviewing witnesses at this point and trying to identify the suspect. He's described as a black male, heavy set. He was wearing a white shirt,” said Albany Police Deputy Chief Mark Scott.
