ALBANY, GA -- The Dougherty County School System thanked its partners today at a "rise and shine" breakfast.

Those attending heard music performed and sung by students from Radium Springs Middle Magnet School of the Arts.

Each table had a decorated center piece unique to each school in the system.

And Superintendent Dr. Joshua Murfree is asking one thing of those in the community.

“From teachers, administrators, from faith base to give our young people in Dougherty County the same kind of education that they were given. To give them the same opportunities they were given when they were growing up and that's it and we'll do well with everything,” says Murfree.

The system has grown to over 230 partners.
