Sherwood’s fourth movie hits movie screens nationwide

ALBANY, GA -- Sherwood Baptist Church’s latest movie “Courageous” launches at more than 1,100 movie theaters nationwide Friday.

The movie is the fourth film by the church well known for other Christian movies like “Fireproof” and “Facing the Giants”.

Their newest movie cost more than $1 million dollars to make, however church leaders say they have a lot of volunteers to help bring the movie to life.

In Albany two early showings of the movie sold out.

The Dougherty County Sheriff’s Office got in the spirit by bringing a few deputy cars by the theater to support the movie premier Friday night.
