ALBANY, GA -- Chances are the economy is hitting you pretty hard.

But some aren't letting that slow them down when it comes to finding great new clothes.

Consignment shops are becoming more popular for those wanting to make their dollar stretch a bit farther--especially when you can bring in your old, gently used clothes for cash.

“Well we've definitely gained a lot more business since the economy has affected everyone. You get great stuff here for almost 60% off normal retail value,” said Plato's Closet Manager Morgan Harrell.

How much money you get depends on how popular that article of clothing is and what kind of condition it's in.
