DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GA -- Monday afternoon, state investigators arrived to begin what Dougherty County School System Attorney Tommy Coleman calls “phase two” of an investigation into CRCT cheating in the school system.

Coleman says numerous meetings were held with people from the school system.

“They will get organized; they asked for a map of the schools, that kind of thing, and some information about particular people. So I think they're just on their way to trying to get a handle on what they believe the investigation is about,” says Coleman.

He says Monday was the first of many meetings with DCSS personnel to come. Coleman says it could be weeks before any final results are released.
