Plato's Closet buys and sells "gently used" clothing

ALBANY, GA -- A new clothing store opened in Albany Thursday morning, just in time for the rush of back-to-school shoppers.

“Plato’s closet is a franchise,” said Stacey Scott, the store’s owner. “We buy and sell gently used teen and young adult clothing.”

Scott said there was a line around the building before the store has its grand opening at 10:00 a.m.

Plato’s Closet, which caters to teens and young adults, buys and sells “gently used,” name brand clothing. The particular name brand determines the amount the store pays sellers.
