Assailant got away with undisclosed amount of cash, money orders
ALBANY -- June Bug Grocery on South Madison Road was robbed early this morning.
Raj Patel, the store’s manager, said one man broke into the gas station’s convenience store at 1905 South Madison Road, jumped over the counter and took an undisclosed amount of money from the store’s back room.
According to the Albany Police Department, the robber was a black male wearing all black with gloves. Money orders were also taken.
The robbery was captured on surveillance video which has been given to police.
The store was closed at the time of the robbery.
