ALBANY, GA -- Dougherty County is set to approve the final version of their budget next Monday.
They had to factor in another $6,830 Wednesday for the Sheriff's Office for the monitoring of sex offenders and the upkeep of an online sex offender registry.
“They have maintained one for a couple years now, so it's just an ongoing expense that we had previously not put in the budget for next year,” said Finance Director Karen Goff.
The county will meet next Monday at 10 a.m.
