ALBANY, GA -- Police in Ohio have busted up an alleged murder-for-hire plot surrounding Marine Sergent James Eppler.

An aunt of Natalie Eppler, Irene Wlaszyn, was arrested by Lorain police. Officers say Wlaszyn tried to hire a man to kill Sgt. Eppler about three weeks ago.  The man went to police who investigated Wlaszyn and arrested her Tuesday night.

Sgt. Eppler had been accused of killing his wife, Natalie, in Albany in mid-February. Sgt. Eppler was released after spending 3 months in jail when local authorities ruled the death a suicide.
