ALBANY, GA -- Publix Supermarkets and the Children's Miracle Network are teaming up to help raise money and cut your grocery bill. For many coupon clipping shoppers like Tina Luciano it's kind of a "big deal."

With her coupon binder and two children in tow, she has a game plan when it comes to shopping. She is one of many Americans becoming expert grocery shoppers, as a coupon craze sweeps the country. If you plan right there are major deals to be had.

“I spent about $300 dollars and saved $173 dollars and I stocked my whole freezer and everything,” said Luciano.

But she stops short of calling herself one of those "Extreme Couponers" you normally see on T.V.

“They're crazy they go way overboard with it. I only buy what i need,” said Luciano.

But it's couponers like Luciano that stand to gain the most from the new fundraiser.

“They can pick up coupons they can purchase at either register and they can get them from a dollar to three dollars to five dollars,” said Publix manager Garrett Tukes.

“People donate and 100 percent of it stays here at the local hospital at Phoebe Putney to help sick and injured children,” said Amanda Smith of the Children’s Miracle Network.

“I like to donate to things all the time so it is nice to get coupons back for that as well. So it's a bonus for everyone,” said Luciano.
