ALBANY, GA -- 22-year-old Madison Karr lives in Albany, but is originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama and was moved to act after recent tornados ravaged certain areas.

After collecting donations over the past month, Karr packed up her truck and a trailer full of boxes filled with food, blankets, toiletries and dozens of other needed items.

She said she was able to fill 56 boxes and received donations from folks as far away as Bainbridge and parts of Mitchell County.

“I'm absolutely overwhelmed at how much we actually got, the 12 foot trailer, the bed of my truck and the inside of my truck is slammed full,” said Karr.

Karr will be leaving around 7:00 a.m. Monday morning.
