Officials compete in four food categories.

ALBANY, GA -- Local officials heated in up their grills for the 2011 Law Enforcement Memorial Cookoff.

In this years Hot Wings contest, they competed for winning titles in four categories.

Those who attended came prepared with family and friends in tow. 

The defending champs showed off their trophies from previous years with hopes of winning again.

"It's a lot of comradarie," said Captain Ryan Ward, Albany Police Department, "We have four differenct categories. We have hot wings, ribs, chicken, and our Boston butts."

Captain Ward's team from the Albany Police Department reclaimed their title of best Boston Butt.

Dougherty County EMS took title for best Ribs and Hot wings, while the Dougherty County Sheriff's Office won for best chicken.   

Lee County Sheriff's Office took Grand Champion again.
