The CVB announced they will provide bike rentals seven days a week

ALBANY, GA -- This week is the 28th annual National Travel and Tourism Week.

And the Convention and Visitor's Bureau made a few special announcements Tuesday.

Local hotels and attractions gathered at the Welcome Center.

While there, the CVB announced the launch later this week of an updated version of their new website, VisitAlbanyGA.com, as well as the fact that they are officially an accredited CVB!

Travel and tourism is a $172 million industry for Albany, providing 2,000 jobs and generating over $5 million in local tax revenue.

The CVB also announced they will have bikes available to rent out seven days a week for only $10 for four hours, or $15 for the entire day.

You can learn more by calling the Welcome Center at 229-317-4760 and speaking with Lisa Riddle.
