MOULTRIE, GA -- For the second year in a row a Heritage Church in Moultrie is putting on an event called Mega-Impact.

They choose a few families to help out with their home repairs. And some college students are crossing state lines to help out.

They're actual volunteers from the University of Tennessee. More than 100 students will spend their spring break painting houses, landscaping, and repairing roofs.

“I didn't have anything planned for spring break yet so me and three other guys we just decided to come here,” said Matt Walker.

“I just enjoy being able to help people out and at the end of the week looking back and seeing everything we've done is just amazing,” said Lawrence Hyde.

About a dozen homes will receive repairs by the students.
