Latest news, weather and high school sports for Albany and Southwest Georgia

ALBANY, GA -- Teachers, students, and parent volunteers greeted visitors at Byne Christian School Tuesday evening for ‘Destination Byne.’ The event gives folks the chance to stop by and check out what the school has to offer. Décor and food from 12 different countries were available for visitors to take in.

Countries showcased include Australia, Italy, Russia, and China. Each year the school chooses a new theme for their annual open house. Organizers say they worked hard to out-do last year’s theme, “Are you smarter than a fifth grader?”
