ALBANY, GA. -- The Toys for Tots program got a huge lift, thanks to the Albany Rotary Club.

Rotary members presented MCLB officials with a $1,000 check at their weekly meeting Thursday.

Organizers say the funds go a long way in helping them reach their goal.

“This offsets a lot of the costs and that's a great thing, and I truly thank the Rotary Club for stepping forward,” said 1st SGT. James Watson

So far Toys for Tots has collected about 3,200 toys for kids in need this year, but officials say they want to get a total of 7,000 by December 15th.
